History

We are a small family business, which started off at one location and has since then expanded to 4 independently owned restaurants in the Killeen/ Harker Heights area. Maria Martha Leon, and Maria Irma Marquez are the current owners and managers of the location in heights with the help of Irma’s middle daughter Ruby Marquez. While Taqueria Mexico #2 is run by Irma’s husband Miguel and oldest daughter Adilene Marquez. We work very hard at building close relationships with everyday and regular customers, in order to maintain the comfort of our customers and their satisfaction. We have kept some of our original recipes for over 15 years serving some of the best tacos, burritos, soups and full entrees.

Taqueria is run by two sisters that come from a family of 14, in which all are involved in the Mexican restaurant business. They are originally from a JesusMaria, Jalisco a small town located in Mexico where they lived for 20 years, but have been in Killeen Texas for a total of 17 years and in the business since then seeking greater opportunities. Irma has been married for 25 years to her husband and business partner Miguel Marquez and have 3 daughters. (adi 24, ruby 21, Jocelyn 8)
